For me, some of those minuses are dealt with my the fact that for any 2+ hour task, I'll be plugging in an external mouse (and sometimes keyboard) anyway. When you get right down to it, there are very few changes in this release that will alter HOW I use a computer... nothing revolutionary, just evolutionary. The 17"-er is still available in the Apple store. I think it got memory and power bumps, but I don't follow the lines well enough to know. I'm sure details will be up on MacRumors or similar in 3, 2, 1... Good analysis.
