Webfluency was founded in 2005 by partners Greg Demetrick and Toni Drowne, two Boston area residents who had been working in the Web technology business for over six years, and wanted to bring some of that knowledge to the Burlington, Vermont area. Our slogan is: We Speak Web. Greg and Toni found that many clients were unhappy with existing Web development firms because while they could speak the lingo very well, they couldn't translate very well for their clients. This lack of information and plainspeak is frustrating for many companies trying to navigate the new media tools that have become available. Toni was always the creative force behind the execution of Webfluency projects, while Greg remains the technical lead. Since 2006, we have been operating out of Burlington, Vermont and have traveled the state working with different companies to enhance their Web site presence. In 2010, Webfluency gained the important addition of Deborah Shelby, a fantastically talented project manager with a keen eye for developing Web strategy for clients and helping them assume the reins of the Website long after the launch. As Webfluency continues to evolve and grow, we strive to maintain the seamless execution of design and technology, while translating Web site lingo and strategy to our clients.
