Webfluency designed and developed an exciting new online exhibit for ECHO using the Omeka platform.
This site allows the public to submit stories, photos, audio files and video files to the Voices site to share with others and deepen our local connection to Lake Champlain. Webfluency worked closely with members of ECHO’s staff to design a site that was inviting and engaging to users.
The site allows users to submit media files, and also pinpoint on a map where the story, video, photo or audio file happened. The results are cumulated on a custom google map display. (http://www.voicesforthelake.org/geolocation/map/browse)
Webfluency was given some branding guidelines (Logo, Color ideas) but developed the overall look of the site which eventually was used as the foundation for the exhibit on the floor of ECHO that allows users to submit stories while they visit the science center.
